I use gemstones in my work as well as special pieces people give to me.
I also use sterling silver and deeply appreciate how nice the silver looks with the various gemstones. I work on
the loom weaving beads to accent some beautiful Touchstone Pottery pendants, gemstone cabocarbons and incredible
fossils to incorporate into my work.
I regularly show at "Art Under the Umbrellas"
with the La Quinta Arts Foundation and I am currently participating in the 2011-2012 showings with this excellent
organization. The La Quinta Arts Foundation is a non-profit organization that raises money for art scholarships.
For the 2012-2013 "Art Under the Umbrellas," I will be showing on: October 27, 2012; November 10, 2012;
November 24, 2012; December 1, 2012; January 12th and 19th , 2013; February 9th and 16th, 2013; and March 23, 2013.
My work is regularly
on display at the Desert Art Center in Palm Springs, California from October 1st through May 31st. The Desert Art Center
is a non-profit cooperative group that raises funding for art scholarships for local high school students; it is my pleasure
to participate with other members of the Desert Art Center to support such an important endeavor. The Desert Art Center

As a member of the Chaparral Artist Group, I also show my work with other Chaparral artists
at local events in Yucca Valley, CA, Joshua Tree, CA & 29 Palms, CA. I will be showing at the MBAC Artist's Tour
for 2012 on October 20th and 21st with co-artist Nancy Miehle at Nancy's home studio from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
