I use gemstones in my work as well as special pieces people give to me.  I also use sterling silver and deeply appreciate how nice the silver looks with the various gemstones.  I work on the loom weaving beads to accent some beautiful Touchstone Pottery pendants, gemstone cabocarbons and incredible fossils to incorporate into my work.

I showed my work, for the first time anywhere, at the Wild West Coyote Fest in Joshua Tree, California on October 5th and 6th, 2006.  I joined the Chaparral Artists group on November 4th and 5th for the 2006 Morongo Basin Open Studio Art Tour at the Joshua Tree Community Center in Joshua Tree, California.  I had a wonderful opportunity to show my work at the Buckboard store in Yucca Vally, California for the month of December, 2006.

Dave & Sherry Eckenberg hosted a showing of my work at their art gallery, Tumbleweed, in Yucca Valley on September 21, 2008.  A special thanks is deserved by Dave and Sherry for the beautiful photos they took of my work as well as the terrific promotional work they did for the showing.

I've completed showings at the Earth Day Fair in Idyllwild, California and at the Idyllwild Jazz Festival in August, 2007 through 2010.  The Idyllwild events are showings I look forward to each year.  I regularly show at "Art Under the Umbrellas" with the La Quinta Arts Foundation and I am currently participating in the 2010-2011 showings with this excellent organization. The Jazz Festival, in Idyllwild, and the La Quinta Arts Foundation are both non-profit organizations that raise money for art scholarships.  Not only does each organization provide a professional, pleasant venue for artists, their effort to ensure scholarships for student artists is something I deeply appreciate.

I enjoyed very much showing at the Rancho Mirage Whitewater Park Arts Festival and look forward to the next show hosted by this wonderful group.

My work is regularly on display at the Desert Art Center in Palm Springs, California from October 1st through May 31st.  The Desert Art Center is a non-profit cooperative group that raises funding for art scholarships and it is my pleasure to participate with other members of the Desert Art Center to support such an important endeavor.   My work is also on display at A Roadside Attraction Gallery in 29 Palms, California.

I am pleased to co-host an artist's reception at A Roadside Attraction Gallery in 29 Palms, California where I will show my work with fellow artists Shirley James and Barbara Mathaney.  The reception is to be held March 20, 2011 from 1-3 pm with music provided by the Mission Creek Trio.

As a member of the Chaparral Artist Group, I also show my work with other Chaparral artists at local events in Yucca Valley, CA, Joshua Tree, CA & 29 Palms, CA.

 I
look forward to each showing.  I meet wonderful people at the shows and love to share creative ideas.

If you share an interest in the kinds of work I do, please contact me at the email address listed below or come visit at one of the shows in which I will participate.  I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it.
